The Organising Committee invites contributions to the AGC 2019. Seize the opportunity to be part of this ground-breaking event and profile your research and projects to the over 350 delegates.

Present your work, take part in the discussion, give a poster presentation, and make the most of this significant gathering of groundwater professionals in the Australasian region.

We are planning an exciting technical program across a broad range of groundwater topics that relate to resource development, agriculture, infrastructure, the environment, people, policy, business, socioeconomic and just gold old fashioned characterisation of groundwater systems and understanding our water resources. There will be a combination of interesting high-level Plenary Speakers, themed oral sessions, panel discussions, commercial exhibits, and special attention is going to be paid to dedicated and interactive poster sessions where poster presenters will have time to interact in deep technical discussions with attendees.

Themes

The Australasian Groundwater Conference provides an important opportunity to showcase exciting and innovative work in any area relevant to the groundwater fields. The Organising Committee would especially welcome abstracts in the following thematic areas:

  • Resources | extractive industries, agriculture, renewables and Groundwater management

  • Infrastructure | supporting growing populations and the supply of food, water and energy

  • Environment | sustainability and environmental protection within a changing climate

In addition this year, the Australasian Groundwater Conference is proud to host a session that focusses entirely on Indigenous groundwater values and connections.

Please ensure once you have finalised your abstract that you proceed right to the end to complete your submission. An automatic acknowledgment will be sent to your email once your submission is complete.

  • Presenters whose abstracts have been accepted must register for the conference and pay a registration fee.

  • You will be notified of the outcome of your abstracts on 16 August 2019. At this time you will be notified of the time to present an oral presentation or alternatively for posters if your poster has been chosen for a flash presentation.

  • You are required to register by 16 September 2019 to present at the conference and included in the conference program.
