The Poster Session is one of the core events of the Conference, as selected abstracts from different groundwater disciplines are presented by colleagues from across Australasia and the world. This interactive and engaging session offers a platform for viewing and discussing achievements, ideas and developments face-to-face.
Don’t plan on flying home on the evening of the field trip as the day is jammed packed!

Field Trips are an additional charge to the conference registration fee; participation fees for each trip will be available when registrations open on 1 December 2018. Places are limited for each trip, so ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.
North Stradbroke Island

If you enjoy nature, the beach, 4x4ing and hydrogeology then this is a field trip you do not want to miss. Seats are limited by the capacity of the 4x4 buses, so sign up early. This field trip will be a long but stunning day with some walking involved, get your sun smart attire and walking shoes out for a fun day of exploring this stunning island.
Gold Coast Hinterland

In Queensland’s scenic Gold Coast Hinterland, groundwater is relied upon for domestic use, commercial extraction, horticulture and supporting ecologically diverse forests. We are offering a guided tour of the Gold Coast Hinterland with opportunities for short walks to groundwater fed creeks and waterfalls. We have a full day of sightseeing planned covering the Springbrook National Park and Tamborine Mountain.
Note: Welcome Reception and Poster Presentations is included in your delegate registration, however a small charge will be applied for delegates to attend the Dinner and the Student-Industry Networking Night. Reservations must be placed at the time of registering.
